Accessibility Statement

We have designed this site to be accessible to everyone.  Carrick on Suir Town Council is committed to the provision of an accessible Web Site, and to achieve WCAG double AA standard.  The Navigation routines and the Core Dynamic pages have been tested to conform to W3C Accessibility Guidelines.  This site is monitored on a regular basis and accessibility is an important part. It is not possible to predict every possible difficulty a user might have in accessing information on the site.

Browsealoud is a free tool that can be used to speech enable the content of our website.   
 It may be helpful to:
  • Anyone with low literacy skills or Dyslexia . 
  • People who don't have English as a first language
  • Those with some visual impairment
  • Anyone who would prefer to listen to text rather than read it.
