Brewery Lane Drama Society
Brewery Lane Drama Society began operations in 1995, thus it is celebrating its 50th Year of production this very year. The group acquired its current theatre in 1980. The name Brewery Lane is fitting as the building was used as a malt house for a Brewing company through out the 1900’s and was then acquired by Smithwicks in 1911. The society itself produces two adult and one youth production each year. This unique and intimate setting of approx 75 people also attracts many touring societies as well as musicians and poets from around the country.
